Creating Animations !! (:

I had to create an animation using GIMP. It was the first time i had actually used the program.


It's really F U N ! I had a couple of trys with it .. But my FIRST one was the best...


But somehow it got deleted... :'( And I couldn't find it again... so this is my animation. It looks pretty good....
I had to use a couple of tools such as ; paint brush, pencil, paint bucket.. and but adding the layers over each other to make it an animation.. Each time i added another layer i just drew something on top of the picture and clicked on" Duplicate Layer" and draw something else then pressed, Duplicate Layer" .. when i was finished all i had to do was play back. it was a great experience ! :P

so, please comment, i'd love to hear how you think about my animation :)

olymipic rings- my own :D

Considering i have been using word a lot.. i thought I'd use paint for this activity of drawing my own Olympic rings... it was really fun!

umm.. luckily i had some guidance with this ..

some problems i had with this was that i didn't know how to make the rings look like they interlocked. So, I drew the circles in Microsoft Word and then I, print screen, and paste the page onto paint and fixed it there. I erased the lines and re-painted them with the other colour so that it looked like the rings were inter-locking. I think that was my main problem. However, my other weird problem i had, was i didn't know which colour to choose for the rings- i couldn't decide on which colour to pick! I know, weird. but it was fun. i would do it again...

using word...again.. i had to use simple 2D shapes and make them into 3D shapes ..

they're pretty cool i gatta admit ;) ... someone helpd me.. :P

how freakin' cool is that ?! :D

it's kindaa based on the characters from the book, Twilight..

kinda because.. it's not good.. hahaha..

This my 8 of clubs, saved as a 24-bit bitmap .
This has a total of 282KB.

While.. this is saved as a Monochrome bitmap. This file has a total of 21KB.
I think these files have different sizes because they are saved in different types of files. Also because, the monochrome only holds only 2 colours, black and white. While the 24-bit bitmap has more. So the 24-bit bitmap has a bigger size than the monochrome one.
isnt it pretty ? :D
